Where the file has a place
Eighteen cases with coordinates. Colour encodes sourcing quality, not how strange the event was: cyan is a government or archival record, blue is mainstream reporting with named sources, amber is thin sourcing. Click a marker for the case; the list beside the map does the same without a mouse.

What the geography shows
- The Maritimes dominate the famous cases. Nova Scotia holds two of the eighteen, and the two most-documented in the country. New Brunswick holds four, mostly modern witness reports rather than official files.
- Newfoundland and Labrador is the aviation cluster. Gander 1951, Gander 1974 and Stephenville 2013 are all airborne; the last two involved multiple aircraft and were filed as vital-information reports, the kind of record that survives.
- The north has the modern intercepts. The Yukon marker is the 11 February 2023 NORAD downing: not a mystery sighting, but the clearest instance of a Canadian UAP being tracked, intercepted and recovered.
- The Prairies hold the strangest one. Falcon Lake is the only case in this index with a documented physical effect on a person that remains unexplained.
How to read the colours
A marker is a place, not a proof. Each circle is a case file with a source list; the grade tells you how hard you will have to work to stand behind it.
